Rafael Barias add Santos to their roster

Club Rafael Barias (TBS) has added 28-year-old center Luis Santos (203cm-116kg-1994, college: St. Louis) to their roster. Santos recently played for Caneros in the LNB league in the Dominican Republic, where he had impressive stats in 6 games, averaging 15.3ppg, 11.7rpg, 1.0apg, 1.2spg, and 1.5bpg. TBS will provide a better match for him and he is expected to receive more playing time. Santos has also played for Cocodrilos (SPB) in the Venezuelan league.
He represented the Dominican Republic at the Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador, El Salvador, this year. His team won the gold medal.
He's a highly experienced player, having played professionally in Argentina (Olimpico), Chile (Concepcion), Colombia (Titanes, Hurricanes, and Motilones), Mexico (Fuerza Regia), Uruguay (Bigua), Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic (Los Prados, Cupes, Leones, and Bameso). In addition, he was voted to the Latinbasket.com All-Basketball Champions League Americas Honorable Mention in 2023.
He won the Uruguay LUB championship title in 2022.
He graduated from Saint Louis University in 2018, and this will be his seventh season as a professional player. He also played for the University of South Florida for 2 years.
